Vietnamese with Thao was founded by Lam Thi Phuong Thao (Ashley Lam), a passionate linguist and teacher with many years of experience helping international learners grow from beginner to fluent. Our team focuses on Southern Vietnamese pronunciation and grammar, creating lessons that are both accurate and full of life.
With a strong academic foundation in Linguistics and certifications in Vietnamese and English teaching, our instructors combine research-based expertise with practical, real-world methods to make each class engaging, clear, and effective.
At Vietnamese with Thao, our mission is to make learning Vietnamese enjoyable, meaningful, and truly connected to culture. We tailor lessons to each learner’s goals and personality - sharing not only the language, but also the traditions, stories, and everyday beauty of Vietnam.
