With over six years of teaching experience, our approach helps students progress from beginner to fluent, with a strong emphasis on Southern Vietnamese pronunciation and grammar. Each course is tailored to individual learning styles and goals, ensuring that every student receives the guidance they need to succeed.
At Vietnamese with Thao, we believe language learning should be enjoyable and inspiring. By creating a supportive, friendly environment, we empower learners to build confidence, improve fluency, and truly connect with the Vietnamese language and culture.
1. Where It All Began
The journey of Vietnamese with Thao began from my travels abroad, where I had the chance to meet and connect with international friends from all around the world.
During our conversations, they often asked me the most amusing questions:
“Do you have supermarkets in Vietnam?”
“Is it all forests there? Watch out for snakes!”
Those questions made me laugh, yet also feel a bit wistful.
Because Vietnam - my country - has such rich culture, warm-hearted people, delicious cuisine, and a beautiful, expressive language, but somehow, it hasn’t been known or understood widely enough.
That’s when a spark grew inside me - a deep desire to share the beauty of Vietnam with the world,
to help people see a modern, diverse, and soulful Vietnam, not just “a land of jungles and sunshine.”
